Mindfulness has been taught for over two thousand years and we are now benefiting from extensive research into the positive impact that it can have.
The MamaKind Club and The MindKind Club are founded by Amy Polly a mindfulness teacher, speaker and author.
Amy teaches mindfulness to mums via The MamaKind Club, and teaches mindfulness for wellbeing in the workplace via The MindKind Club. She has also spoken about the power of mindfulness at various events and is the author of the children’s journal ‘My Mindfulness Journal’.

Hi!
My name is Amy Polly and I am the founder of The MindKind Club and The MamaKind Club. Thank you for being here and I would love to tell you a little bit more about me.
I am a mother to my son Jackson, I love pink, making people smile or laugh is everything to me, and I (probably) swear too much.
I have been an accountant since I was eighteen years old and I am very proud of my career, but for a very long time I knew that I couldn’t do it full time forever because I wanted to help people and do my small part to create something positive in this world.
It’s been a journey and it started when I went down a path of mindfulness and meditation when I needed help with my mental health. That was nearly 7 years ago now and I have never looked back.
Mindfulness helped me and my family through some tough times; miscarriage, a complicated birth with my son, post-natal anxiety, and all of the other distractions and stresses that modern life and relationships, let alone motherhood, brings.
I am a mindfulness teacher, speaker and author. I created The MindKind Club and The MamaKind Club to serve businesses and mothers, both of which are close to my heart and could benefit greatly from mindfulness.
I have studied and gained diploma certificates in: Meditation and Mindfulness and I am a member of the International Institute of Complimentary Therapists. I also have a Level 2 APT-accreditation in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/Training. I have completed two teacher training courses in Mindfulness and I pride myself on ensuring I deliver something that is honest, realistic, simple and accessible, because I want you to know that this is for everyone.
I am also a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
What about the author bit I hear you ask? Well I have also written a book! ‘My Mindfulness Journal’ for Children with full supporting adults’ guide. This came from a friend asking how to better communicate with her child and start practicing mindfulness… and the journal was born (much easier than my other little bundle of joy).
